Pulling from the book of Joshua, Pastor Doug Jentes preaches on the spiritual battle that we as Christians fight. That the Bible teaches us how to fight, and if we cannot fight, to flee from evil and resist the Devil. But if we are to freeze up, do nothing, or give into temptation and the desires of the world, we will hide our sin in our hearts and mind. But now is not the time to give in, it is time to stop hiding the sin in our hearts, but to confess to God and stand with Him in victory.

That being, if anything else, you must adhere to the Word of God (and Jesus) as your foundation. For your faith, for your walk, for everything in your life. For if you do not stand firm on the foundation of God, your will sink in the shifting sands.
Guest Speaker Pete Frank takes about Gospelink, a ministry with a global focus on native missionaries to carry the Gospel to the unknown and unreached groups of the world. And in his explanation, he not only testifies of the good that God is doing in the world; but also, how it was tasked to us as well to take the Gospel to those who are lost and need Christ.
Throughout the Bible, it tells account after account of trials and hardships. From the Old Testament to the New, wherever people are hardship follows. But as Pastor Doug preaches on today, it is from those stories and scars that we can testify of God's might. Not just from the Bible, but from our own lives. That, it's no longer necessary to live in our past and mistakes, but to live in the life that God has called us to, testifying and living for His Glory.
Unfortunately, people within the church often think that worship is simple. That the only way to do it is to play instruments and have a good voice. With a multi-baptism service, Pastor Doug preaches on the importance of baptism; in how its not the act itself thats saves you, but by the belief and declaration of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Additionally, while the baptism is very symbolic in many ways, it is a declaration to the world that you are a new creation and are pursuing a new life!
Guest Speaker Matt Eckhart speaks about the mission that Jesus has called us to and given us permission in main parts: Permission for the mission, Commissioned for the mission, and what the Engine is for the mission. Moreover, since He has given us the Holy Spirit, commission, and permission, we can go! Not because of a speaker or what someone else says, but because Christ Himself has given us the signal to go.
As we head into the New Year, it isn't uncommon for people to have or make "New Year's Resolutions". But as we have often experienced, we fall short and stop soon after the new year begins. However, as Pastor Doug explains and believes, that this year is the year we shall see God's Faithfulness.
And if we trust Him in his Faithfulness, whether its in our resolutions or other parts of our lives, we will see Him come through according to His will. Happy New Years!
Merry Christmas to all! In Todays message, Pastor Doug speaks on Christmas, the true reason to celebrate it, and how the Bible (from the beginning until the New Testament) was foretelling the coming of the greatest gift of all: Jesus Christ.
One of the hardest things for people to say is "I need help". It is hard to admit that we don't have control over a situation in our life, especially when it comes to our spiritual walk. But when we begin to admit our helplessness, and huble ourselves before God, he can work in wonderous ways.
It is not uncommon to go through our day to day feeling disconnected to God. That, on Sundays we can perceive God's presence, but on any other day of the week He seems to be gone. But as Pastor Doug talks about in his message, we have to question if we are allowing God to move in our lives. We have to question if we are being intentional with God, having a willing heart, mind, and spirit to commune with Him and pray.
Prayer is a powerful thing that god has given us, both for our relationship with Him and talking with him about our lives and our needs. However, more often than not, we underestimate the power of prayer. In doing so, we half-heartedly pray, not truly believing in what we pray.
But as Pastor Doug talks about in his message, our prayers do have power. There are times where all it takes one more prayer. One more prayer for that breakthrough, one more prayer for a revelation, just one more if we push forward and hold on to His promises. For all of His promises are yes and amen.
When we come with unrealistic expectations that are not in line with God, and he "disappoints" us, what did we expect? As Pastor Doug talks about in todays message with the two accounts of Peter fishing; it is time to lay down our expectations and let God be God. For as we see in todays message, it did not matter how much Peter had failed, what mattered was that His Grace covered him, and that he loved Jesus regardless of what happened.
Pastor Doug Jentes dives in to the story of Noah's Ark, and the door that God shut before the flood came. For in that time, the door was the only way to access the boat, and to be spared the destruction of the flood. But as Doug mentions in todays sermon, the same goes for Jesus. Jesus is the only way to saved, just as it was in the days of Noah.
In todays message, Pastor Doug teaches on 2nd Samuel chapter five on King David fighting the Philistines. That at times, we rush to fight the enemy, when the Lord is saying to stop and let Him go first, claiming the victory. And in waiting, when we hear the rustling of the trees over head, God has given us the signal to go and claim the victory that God has given us.

When reading through the Bible, it may seem like there are details and passages that are "useless". That, even within the context of the scripture makes no sense at first glance.
But, as we see in todays message, that our God is a God of detail. That, even if we think that a scripture (or ourselves at times) has no purpose; God will use the smallest of details and people for His glory, His plans, and for the benefit of His people.
In the book of Exodus 11-12, we see that God has sent the plague of the first born to Egypt, taking away the lives of the first born in all of Egypt. But God told His people that if they are to be protected, they need only cover the doorposts of their house with the blood of a sacrificial lamb. And that when they did, and the plague came, He told his people that he would pass over.
If we Christians are covered by the Blood of Christ, then what do we have to fear? Not the plagues that will come, not the Pharaohs in our life that oppresses us, nor the world that would condemn us. Nothing can pluck us from the hands of the Father. Tune in to hear more of the Passover and the Blood that protects and covers.
Whenever we take our eyes of the Savior, we lose sight of who we are in Christ. We start to think we are not worthy and focus on our mistakes, and believe that what God has in store for us is a mistake.
But as we learned today, that is a lie from the enemy. Because in Christ, we are worthy, we are Children of God, and God believes in us and the work He is doing in us! Tune in today to learn more.
